Field Notes
The Field Desk is a one-person operation chasing out-of-print militaria, field manuals, outdoors literature, and the gentleman-adjacent ephemera that doesn't make it back to the shelf twice. Memoirs from Grenada and Vietnam. A signed Andretti. A 1974 USFS avalanche handbook with the fold-out chart still tucked in the back.
Every photograph is taken on a USGI metal field desk — the same one, in the same light, so condition reads the way it actually is in hand. You'll see the spine, the corners, the stamps, and at least one interior spread before you click buy.
Inventory is almost entirely one of one. When a piece sells, the site flips it to Sold immediately so two people aren't fighting over the same copy. No backorders, no waitlists, no refunds for double-sales.
